Are you looking for a Bible Study to join?

Want to rub shoulders with some other men and grow deeper in your faith? We have a variety of Bible Studies and accountability groups that meet throughout the week. Hopefully one will meet your schedule. We have small group studies, medium group studies, and large group studies. What is your preference? We will help you get connected! Small Group: Are you looking for a smaller Bible study or accountability group? We have them going on at many times and many places throughout the week...

  • Wednesday morning Bible Study, 6 - 7:15 am. in the conference room upstairs at church. Contact Steve Engbers steveeng@juno.com for more information.
  • Friday morning, "Bad Boys of the Bible" meeting  at Doug’s Dinner (Orchard and Parker) at 7:30 – 8:30/9:00 am

  • Monday night accountability group starting Monday, Feb. 27.  This group meets for 8 weeks and helps those who are struggling with sexual integrity, sexual thoughts, and actions.  Vegas rules apply here!  Everything that is shared in the classroom STAYS in the classroom.  This is a no shame, no guilt zone.  We want to help you break free of the addiction of improper sexual desires and actions and live in the freedom that comes from the grace of Jesus Christ!  Break the chains!!!  Contact Mark DeNooy at mdenooy@ehills.org for more information.

Medium Group: We have several "medium sized" groups going on at any given time. Currently both of these groups are studying "The Quest for Authentic Manhood." You can find out more about this study at http://www.mensfraternity.com/curriculum/quest.aspx. Just like the barber shops... 'Walk-ins are always welcome." Come and check us out and think you will want to come back!

  • Wednesday on the Hill (WoH) is digging into the book of Revelation.  This is a mixed gender group and is proving to be very popular.  You are welcome to join at anytime!  The class meets from 6:45-8:15 pm and is a combination of a video and discussion format.  Men, come by yourself or bring the wife and enjoy the study together.  This class is held in the Long’s Peak room (upstairs) of EHCC.
  • Thursday "early bird special" runs from 6:15-7:30 am. Coffee and breakfast is provided! You will be physically fed as well as spiritually fed. Come join us for study and prayer before your day starts. This group is currently studying: Men’s Fraternity, Winning at Work and Home.  Feel free to join us for a week, and see if it is a fit for you. I think you will like what you learn.  We work hard on Thursday mornings to help you put the correct “tools” in your “Godly manhood tool belt.”

Large Breakfast Group: Delicious hot breakfasts are served every 3rd Sunday of the month in the Eastern Hills Coffee Shop from 8am to 10am. The next Sat. morning Breakfast will be held Sat. January 21, 2012 and again for our Valentines extravaganza Sweetheart Breakfast on Feb. Sat. 11.  On January 21 we will serve breakfast from 8:15-9:00 am and then spend some time packing 240 “Promise Packs” for World Vision.  These backpacks will be sent to 2nd and 3rd world countries and given to children who cannot afford basic school supplies.  You are helping a child get an education.  An education helps that child break the cycle of poverty.  Bring the ENTIRE FAMILY out for this event.  This is designed to be a service project for moms, dads, and children.  You can even bring the grandchildren!

For our annual sweetheart breakfast, held on Sat., Feb. 11 we will be killing the fatted calf, selecting the best fruits, melting the sweetest chocolates, and enjoying some relaxed time with the sweetheart in our life!  Breakfast will be served at 9 am (we are allowing you to sleep in a little) and we will have you out the door by 10:30.  You will not find a better breakfast in the metro Denver area.  To beat this breakfast you will need to go to the Broadmoor!  You will not be disappointed!  To reserve a spot for you and your sweetheart, RSVP to Mark DeNooy at mdenooy@ehills.org

Large Wednesday Morning Group: 6:30am to 8am. Contact Mark for specific information about this group

Saturday morning breakfast meetings

Join us on the 3rd Saturday of each month to get fed both physically and spiritually as we gather for a home cooked breakfast buffet and then dig into God's word and/or listen to a speaker who will challenge us to live our lives as God would want us to. Please RSVP to Mark DeNooy if you have any questions. We start at 8:00 am and will have you out the door by 10 am.
