Even though we are a community church, we are affiliated with a denomination called the Christian Reformed Church (CRC).

So how do I join a small group?

Good question. Here are a few ways for you to get involved in a Small Group:

Join or help start a Special Interest Group
Special Interest Groups are formed by someone asking "Do we have a group for ____________ ." You fill in the blank and that is the start of a Special Interest Group. There are several groups that are already meeting and some are open to new members, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find "Open Groups" for more information.
Join a Sermon Based Study Group
Sermon Based Study Groups are a great way to check out Small Group life. You would be committing to meet weekly with a group for 6 to 8 weeks to discuss the previous week's sermon. Sign up online and scroll down further to get more information on what a Sermon Based Study Group is all about.
Fill out a Small Group Survey
The Small Group Survey will help us to match you with other people who are in same stage of life. Surveys are available here online.

Choose to "Go Small" by joining a Small Group and get ready to "Live Large." If you are looking for a place to connect, looking for the "family" feeling at EHCC let us know. We will help you find a group that meets your needs.

Small Groups come in many different shapes and sizes. They are usually made of 8 to 12 people that are in similar stages in life i.e. singles, young couples, families with young children, families with children in school, empty nesters, women, men etc. Some groups are activity based such as the Camping group, Diners Club and a motorcycle group.

Sermon Based Study Groups

SBSGs will get started with the next sermon series, which starts April 3rd/4th - EASTER WEEKEND. Register now online. Facilitators are needed!! Please contact Kristy for more information. kmcgovern@ehills.org

Sermon Series Pre-View with Pastor Shawn

This is for all Sermon Based Study Group Facilitators or those that are interested in becoming a facilitator. Come listen to Pastor Shawn discuss an overview of the sermon series and offer tips for facilitating deeper discussion. The Pre-View is Sunday March 21st 7 to 8:15 pm in the youth room. Please RSVP to Kristy at kmcgovern@ehills.org. Childcare is available but you MUST RSVP with the age(s) of your children no later than Thursday January 28th.

Taste of Community – Dinner Groups

Taste of Community groups are a great way to fellowship over the summer. Groups will meet once in May, June, July and August. The groups are typically formed based on "stage of life" and meeting preferences, each group member takes a turn at hosting and providing the menu. Some groups will be pot-luck others may take turns providing the whole meal. Please contact Kristy if you are interested in hosting the 1st dinner at kmcgovern@ehills.org. Registration to join a group will start mid March.
